Oka Abbey photo outing
We offer you a guided tour to discover the architectural gems of the Oka Abbey. Founded in 1881 and located near the Lac des Deux Montagnes, this former abbey which housed monks of the Cistercian order has been a tourist and cultural site since 2007. Come and discover the chapel, the stained glass windows and the magnificent woodwork found there. The monastery, listed as a heritage site, and the various buildings of the Oka Abbey have exceptional historical architecture.
Accompanied by Sylvie Poirier, professional photographer and director of the Photo Laplante photography school, you will be guided and coached throughout the journey.
Equipment for the workshop:
• Wideangle, telephoto and zoom lenses
• Additional batteries (highly recommended)
• Tripod (optional)
• Comfortable shoes and adequate clothing depending of the weather

An email giving you instructions will be forwarded to you a few days before the workshop.
Pre-requisite: Knowledge of the basics in photography (ISO, aperture, shutter speed, depth of field). Knowledge of the different modes of your camera.
Once registered, this course cannot be refunded. Photo Laplante reserves the right to cancel or hand over a course, workshop or outings without notice, in which case registered persons will be notified and reimbursed.
