The Surefoot NX Series plates offer a number of benefits, including double-safety-stops, double-dovetail profile (offering ease of use for quick release flash brackets), and compatibility with all other North American 'Arca-Swiss' style lensplates. Slightly longer than our NX1 plate, the NX2 (4.5 inches/11.43 cm) fits most small telephoto such as these below, but offers an additional 1" of room for longer lens-feet, or for mounting accessories, or for more balance adjustment: 300mm f/4 70-200mm f/2.8 or f/4 400mm f/5.6 300mm f/2.8
