The new Stereo VideoMic Pro delivers an excellent quality stereo signal for videographers. It is ideal for recording music as well as ambient sound, essential for creating a realistic audio scene.

Based on a matched pair of extremely sensitive 1/2” cardioid condenser capsules in XY configuration, the Stereo VideoMic Pro delivers a wide stereo image with natural depth.

The Stereo VideoMic Pro perfects the features of the VideoMic Pro, including an ergonomic shape perfectly suited for APNRs, consumer camcorders and large sensor video cameras. The built-in suspension perfectly isolates the microphone from vibrations and mechanical noise that could degrade the quality of the recording. In addition, the light but robust multi-wire cable guarantees excellent acoustic decoupling from the camera and generates significantly less noise than a traditional audio cable. The rear side of the mic body features power and EQ controls, including a 75Hz high-pass filter, designed to cut noise generated by air conditioning, car traffic, and other low-frequency interference. A –10dB PAD control reduces microphone sensitivity and allows recording of loud sources such as a concert or sporting event.

The Stereo VideoMic Pro features a +20dB level boost designed to achieve a higher quality signal with DSLR cameras. When activated, the level of the camera's usually poor quality preamp is reduced, resulting in a lower noise floor and a noticeably clearer recording.
