Come experience an unforgettable day in the magnificent Parc de la Rivière Batiscan!

The park has 400 hectares of woodland and is located in Mauricie. Come discover one of the hidden treasures of Mauricie! We will follow the paths along the river to discover falls and pools. An impressive and inspiring spectacle!

Accompanied by Sylvie Poirier, professional photographer and director of the Photo Laplante photography school, you will be guided and coached throughout the journey.

Schedule for the day: (subject to change)

• 7:00 a.m. Departure from the parking lot at Photo Laplante (carpooling)
• 9:00 a.m. Arrival at Parc de la Rivière Batiscan
• Departure to Grande chute trail (approximately 1 km)
• Dinner at the Discovery Center
• Departure to the Doré and Marmite trail (approximately 2,6 km)
• 4:00 p.m. return to Laval- (approximate arrival) 

Entrance fees to the Park are included.

Accessories for the outing:

• Any type of lens: wide angle, macro and zoom
• Extra batteries (strongly recommended)
• Tripod
• Appropriate clothing according to the temperature
• Walking shoes or boots (a few small footpaths to walk)
• Lunch (obligatory)
• Polarizing filter and/or neutral density or others (optional)

An email giving you instructions will be forwarded to you a few days before the workshop.

Pre-requisite: Knowledge of the basics in photography (ISO, aperture, shutter speed, depth of field). Knowledge of the different modes of your camera.

Once registered, this course cannot be refunded. Photo Laplante reserves the right to cancel or hand over a course, workshop or outings without notice, in which case registered persons will be notified and reimbursed.
